Besides the little mishap with the dessert, out holiday weekend was wonderful! We spent some time with the Muirbrook fam, endulging in chinese food and some fireworks! Avi even sported a matching headband with me! Isn't she a doll?
Saturday, we enjoyed the Oakley rodeo with some friends. Really, "rodeo-ing" is such a dangerous sport! I jumped out of my seat in fear someone's skull was about to become a pancake a few too many times.
And guess who sat in front of us?!? Elizabeth Smart! She's all grown up now and such a cute girl. Maybe I snuck a picture of her. After all, she is a celeb.

Thats crazy you saw Elizabeth Smart! She is a celeb now, crazy. Avi is adorable in the headband you made! I put the pink one on my neice today and she loved it! She said 'I look like you Shayla!' Cuz she knows I wear them. Good thing you are so talented!!!
Hey!! I made that dessert for our bunko night that never happened! I made two of them :-) They are really good.
