My weekend project

I got this bad boy at the thrifty old D.I.
I thought it would make a perfect little coffee table for our not so perfectly decorated house.

So I sanded her down,
beat her up a little with a hammer,
& then she was stained.

Here is the finished product.
So come stop by and we'll enjoy a cup of coffee over the new coffee table...
Wait, lets make it a bowl of ice cream!
After all, it's mighty warm these days, & I'm not about to complain about that!

Just a few things my fabulous mom has taught me:

- Just go to bed, it won't seem so bad in the morning.

- Let the small things in life make you happy, e.g. new flavor of gum, Cutlers cookie, a good C.D.

- Surround yourself with positive and happy people.

- Be nice, because mean people suck!

- Always take her advice. (It saves time in the long run.)

I'm blessed to have two great moms; my mom and my mother in law Kari! I love you both! Happy Mother's day to all you wonderful Moms!

Is it Bunko or Bonko?

My high school girlfriends and I get together once a month for a little food, laughter and GAMBELING of course! Ashley hosted this month in her new and beautiful house!

We usually sit around after the big game and laugh until someone wets their pants. It's so much fun to get together with such good friends and remenice about the good old days! I can't wait to KICK ALL YOUR BUTTS NEXT MONTH!!!
